Cuckoo clocks are hanging in the German Clock Museum in Furtwangen for the election of the “Cuckoo Clock of the Year” award.

Choosing the “Cuckoo Clock of the Year”
The organizer of this prize is Black Forest Clock Association (VdS), who created the award in 2001. Every visitor to the museum can vote, and the votes can too online be given. Everyone who has cast their vote also has the chance to win their own watch.
Past hosts of the award include the gate tower of Hohenzollern Castle, the Dorotheenhütte in Wolfach, Europapark Rust and the Black Forest open-air museum Vogtsbauernhof in Gutach.
The traditional cuckoo clock manufacturer Anton Schneider Söhne Uhrenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG won second prize in 2019 with the clock Black Forest Dream (8TMT 1020/9), 2014 1st prize with the clock After work (8TMT 3170/9) and in 2007 with the clock Half-timbered house and bell tower (8TMT 1565/9).
