A winter hike to the cradle of the cuckoo clock starts in Schönwald in the Black Forest. The Tourist Information Schönwald offers a beautiful hiking route that leads through the snowy forests of the Black Forest and takes participants to the cradle of the cuckoo clock.

The path leads through the picturesque villages of the Black Forest and offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains. There are many sights along the way, such as the church of Schönwald, the cuckoo clock shop and the museum of the cuckoo clock. Visitors can also stop to sample traditional Black Forest specialties.

After about two hours you finally reach the cradle of the cuckoo clock, a small museum that specializes in the history of the cuckoo clock. Here attendees can learn about the history of the cuckoo clock and admire some of the oldest cuckoo clocks in the world.
